The Around the Wall Race takes place on Saturday, June 13th, 2026. The 10K race starts at 8:00 AM, with the Kids' Run beginning at 7:00 AM.
Both the start and finish line are located at Stanley Park Pavilion, near the entrance to Stanley Park off Georgia Street. The course follows the scenic Seawall around the park.
Yes! The Around the Wall Race uses professional chip timing to record your official finish time. Your timing chip will be included in your race packet.
Registration fees vary by date:
- Early Bird (January 1 - March 31): $65
- Regular (April 1 - May 31): $75
- Late (June 1 - June 10): $85
We also offer a Pay What You Can option for those facing financial challenges.
Registration closes on June 10th at 11:59 PM or when we reach our capacity of 5,000 runners, whichever comes first. We do not offer race-day registration.
Yes, registration transfers are allowed until June 1st for a $20 transfer fee. Contact us at info@aroundthewallrace.com to process a transfer. After June 1st, no transfers are permitted.

Packet pickup takes place at the race expo:
- Thursday, June 11th: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Friday, June 12th: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
- Saturday, June 13th (Race Day): 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM
Photo ID is required. Someone else may pick up your packet with a copy of your ID and signed authorization.
The course is mostly flat with some gentle rolling hills. The Stanley Park Seawall is known for being a relatively easy, scenic course, making it perfect for runners of all levels. The total elevation gain is approximately 50 meters.
Yes! We have water stations at kilometers 3, 5, 7, and at the finish line. Water and sports drinks will be available at each station.
Strollers are allowed but must start at the back of the pack. For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted on the race course. We recommend arranging care for your furry friend on race day.
Parking is available at several locations near Stanley Park, including:
- Stanley Park lots (arrive early as they fill up quickly)
- Street parking along Georgia Street and Beach Avenue
- Parkades in the West End neighborhood
We strongly encourage carpooling or using public transit. The #19 Stanley Park bus stops near the start/finish area.
Yes, complimentary bag check is available near the start line from 7:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Please use the clear bag provided in your race packet. Bags must be claimed by 11:00 AM.
The race will take place rain or shine! We'll only cancel or postpone in extreme weather conditions such as lightning, dangerous winds, or other severe weather that poses a safety risk. Check our website and social media for any updates on race morning.
