Volunteer Roles
- Water Station Attendants: Cheer on runners and hand out water at key points along the course
- Course Marshals: Guide runners and ensure they stay on course
- Finish Line Team: Congratulate finishers and distribute medals
- Registration Helpers: Assist with packet pickup at the expo
- Setup/Cleanup Crew: Help prepare the venue before and after the race
- Photographer Assistants: Help capture memorable race day moments
Volunteer Requirements
• Must be 14 years or older (12+ with adult supervision)
• Commit to a minimum 2-hour shift
• Attend a brief orientation session (in-person or online)
• Bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude!
Important Dates:
• Volunteer registration opens: January 1st, 2026
• Orientation sessions: May 15th - June 10th
• Race day: June 13th, 2026

Cheer Stations
Nothing motivates runners more than enthusiastic supporters along the course! Set up a cheer station and create an unforgettable experience for participants as they push toward the finish line.
What is a Cheer Station?
A cheer station is a designated spot along the race course where groups, organizations, or families gather to cheer on runners. From cowbells and signs to music and costumes, cheer stations add energy and excitement to race day!

Race Director Assistant
Type: Full-time, Contract (March - July 2026)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Assist the Race Director in all aspects of race planning and execution, including vendor coordination, volunteer management, logistics, and race day operations.
Qualifications:
- Event management experience required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Passion for running and community events
Marketing & Social Media Coordinator
Type: Part-time, Contract (January - June 2026)
Location: Remote/Vancouver, BC
Develop and execute marketing campaigns, manage social media channels, create engaging content, and build excitement for the race.
Qualifications:
- Social media marketing experience
- Excellent writing and content creation skills
- Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Understanding of the running community
Registration & Participant Services
Type: Part-time, Contract (April - June 2026)
Location: Vancouver, BC
Manage online registration system, respond to participant inquiries, coordinate packet pickup, and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Comfortable with registration platforms
- Weekend availability required
